AidLink is a free application with the purpose of serving our community by connecting volunteers to those in need. This page is used to inform visitors of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
If you choose to use AidLink, then you agree to the collection and use of information listed in this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for both providing and improving our service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

When using or registering with AidLink, we may request or require you to provide us with certain personal information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. The information we collect is listed below.
Email Address: AidLink uses emails to notify users of their registration and to send a one-time-passcode to verify their account information. When creating their account users grant AidLink the right to send an OTP to verify the user's identity. Additionally, users may opt-in to receive further email updates such as the status of their current opportunities, the completion of their opportunities, hires, and applications. Users are free to opt-out of future emails by navigating to settings -> Notifications and unselecting “Enable Email Notification.”
Phone number: AidLink uses SMS text messages to notify users of their registration and to send a one-time-passcode to verify their account information. When creating their account, users grant AidLink the right to text an OTP to verify the user’s identity. Message and data rates may apply. Additionally, users may opt-in to receive further text message updates such as the status of their current opportunities, the completion of their opportunities, hires, and applications. Users are free to opt-out of future text messages by navigating to settings -> Notifications and unselecting “Enable SMS Notification”.
Date of Birth: AidLink requires users to give their date of birth when creating an account. A user’s date of birth is used to determine their eligibility to use the app and/or access certain features of the app.
Address: AidLink requires users to register their State, City, and 5-digit zip code. This information is primarily used to filter the location of services so that Recruiters can be assigned Assistant’s within their community.
When using or registering with AidLink we may request or require you to provide us with certain personal information, including but not limited to:
Aidlink requests additional information, including but not limited to the user’s IP address, browser version, pages on our website you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages. This information is used to analyze our site and provide proper service and improvements to our clients.

In the case of an error within the app, AidLink logs data and information (through third-party products) on your phone to identify the source of the error and ensure it is well documented for future avoidance. Log data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing AidLink, the time and date of your use of the Service, as well as additional statistics.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device`'s internal memory.
AidLink does not directly use cookies in our services. However, AidLink may use third-party libraries that use cookies to collect information and improve their services. When a third party application or website is in use, you retain the freedom to either accept or refuse these cookies and hold the responsibility to understand when a cookie is being sent to your device. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. You are solely responsible for your contributions to the app and you expressly agree to exonerate us from all responsibility and to refrain from any legal action against us regarding your contributions.
We have the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, (1) to edit, redact, or otherwise change any Contributions; (2) to re-categorize any Contributions to place them in more appropriate locations on the app; and (3) to pre-screen or delete any Contributions at any time and for any reason, without notice. We have no obligation to monitor your Contributions.
We allow our users to submit reviews on our website. We may accept, reject, or remove reviews at our sole discretion. We have no obligation to screen or delete reviews, even if the reviews are considered objectionable or inaccurate.
